My Birthday - Trip to Hogenakkal Falls

Cabby – The knight in shining armor

Last Friday we went for shopping at the Big Bazaar near K.R Puram railway station. While coming back Nitin realized that he forgot something. (Pretty common!!! and thankfully we were few meters away.)


It was scorching sunny afternoon so we decided that I should stay at the local juicewaala thela and have some juice. I sipped 2 glasses to stop my thirst. Loved it. JUICE : Nice way to clean your system and to loose weight. Many actresses have done it and rave about the results and sooooo many benefits.

Ok, so back to my experience. I was looking around, confused, holding my stomach and suddenly this accident happened. It all happened in friction of seconds that I got no clue how it all happened. When asked juicewaala said “ scooter and cab dono left jaane ki koshish kar rahe the aur scotter waale ko chot lagi hai”. In common scenario Cab drivers hit and run. But this guy was a bit diverse. Immediately Cabby parked his cab and asked the wounded if he was fine. He told the juicewaala to give him a glass of juice. He even gave first aid to the guy as he had some scratches on his palm. He made sure that the injured is perfectly fine.

Looking at this I smiled and liked the fact that these kinds of people still exist.

COORG, I am commin...

This is to announce that I’m officially going to COORG. Yippeee !!

Well a month ago I started to plan for this excursion. Actually I wanted to visit during Valentines Day but it never happened. Reason ? Well there were many …. Tight budget (end of Financial year :S), Ankit already went to Delhi, Dilbagh and Saurav already booked their tickets and the options left were are so lackluster.

Then came Ray of hope……… A phone call from Nitin telling me that Sameer and Inspector Daya ( don’t knw her real name coz this is how Nitin calls her ) will go along with us. Mr. Sameer, high-spirited, loves to drink ( n whn I ask him “ Why do u drink ? “ He will naively answer “ yaar ek baar usko aane de phir chod doonga” (talking about Daya) . A day later when Nitin was actually planning bout this whole trip with Sameer, Naveen heard their conversation and said “ main bhi challonga” Then what ??? Slowly his entire team got ready and started planning and these guys are still planning. So Many people...That's what I like. Full on DHAMMAL

We came across NOWORNEVERLAND. When inquired found they have an amazing range of outdoor activities. Something for everyone that’s what they claimed.

Our activities include the Jungle Gym - India’s only high-wire forest challenge course. It’s a giant obstacle courses up in the trees using ladders, walkways, bridges and tunnels made of wood, rope and super-strong wire, and top it all off with the country's best zip lines (the longest of which is over 200 feet long!). We then kit people out with harnesses, pulleys and Karabiners and let them loose into the forest canopy.

Our Quad Bikes are powerful 250cc fully automatic machines- ride them around a circuit of demanding off-road tracks. Our Paintball course is set in a fully shaded, natural forest environment while our Mountain Bike route takes you up and down a series of gentle hills. Finally there’s the Rifle Range, using state of the art air rifles – just in case you fancy your chances as India’s next Olympic shooting hero.
Afterward relax at cafe and stunning Chelavara Falls... Looks Good !!

Coorg plus Outdoor activities, What a Combo – nothing can get better than this. I am excited and geared up for this trip. Hope will have loads of FUN !!!!!
